Bringin’ back nerdfighter notes! Bored in an airport bookstore? Or any bookstore (like you’d be bored in a bookstore)? Leave a nerdfighter note! Here we have a note by me, featuring the Great White Wall of Cow, being placed in Paper Towns, and a note by the amazing and airport-ridden unapologetically-speaking featuring French the Llama, to be place presently.
These are so good. Infinite high fives to you!
Love this! You can also leave “Esther Day” notes of love, anytime of year!
GeekyCon’s just released amazingly edited “live” version of Esther Day 2014 in Orlando, Florida! A magical night indeed
I am #donating my hair because #EstherDay is everyday. The need to tell the people around us we love them is constant; and so is the need to make kids with #cancer feel like themselves again, even if it’s just #hair. I have not had short hair for seven years but I gladly don it again to make someone’s #birthday or unbirthday the best day. They deserve this life more then a wish granting factory could give them. #tswgo #iloveyoutoo #onefootofhair #pantene #beautifullengths 💇😊💚🎆
Awesome! ”…because #EstherDay is everyday!”
I had sort of heard of Esther through John Green and would often hear him praise and discuss her through some of his videos.
Who is this Esther? I would wonder.
I heard of her passing and was immediately aware that she had made some kind of decent impact on this…
This is Esther….and you can meet her through her words <3
Aaaay it’s Megan’s shirt
And it is SOOO beautiful!
Hey! As September is Childhood Awareness Month, I’m selling awareness ribbons on my Etsy shop for $1 ($2 for the two larger ones). All proceeds will benefit the This Star Won’t Go Out Foundation. Here’s a look at the ribbons:
April doesn’t forget to be awesome!
Oh My Stars || In Loving Memory of Esther Grace Earl
I’ve been wanting to make a video of Esther since I read her book and I finally found this song and since her name meant star, I thought it would be good to make a video to!! Thank you to Mrs.Earl for letting me use their home videos (watch them here: https://www.youtube.com/user/wayneandloriearl) and to Esther for uploading such funny, thoughtful YouTube videos and for being the awesome girl that she was!! Rest In Awesome, Esther!!
This is a beautifully edited video! I watched it through my tears and smiles <3
Alright now that I have time to make a proper post, I want to let you know that Helen and I’s design is on DFTBA for a limited time. I’m not sure how many shirts were left over from LeakyCon, it might be 4 and it might be 80 but if you like them, now is the time to buy! If they sell out quickly or can’t fill all the orders they get, who knows? Maybe they will be available again one day. You should tell me if you choose to buy one, I would love to know or see a picture of you in it unless that is weird to you.
Your shirt design is awesome—people at LeakyCon loved them <3 Thank you so much for creating this beautiful work to help TSWGO and make a difference for kids with cancer and their families :)
Kids with cancer have only just begun writing their stories. Please #StepUp for childhood cancer research.
I do hope that when the day comes, whether in 1, 10, or 100 years, I don’t want you to think of me and feel sad. Even now, while I’m alive, don’t think of me and say, “Poor girl. It’s sad she’s sick”. Not that you do that. Think of me and think of the sunshine, and how I looove animals, and drawing something nice.- Esther Grace Earl (1994-2010) in a letter to her parents, dated Christmas 2008.
